Introducing the Hammett Guitar Co. H782 ‘Black Pearl’ hollow-body electric guitar.

Styled on and in homage to the Harmony H78/ Silvertone 1446 and Keith Richards original black 59’ Es355

The ‘H782 ‘Black Pearl’ is a guitar that’s inspiration comes from the iconic electric guitar shapes of the 50’s and 60’s – those symmetrical electric-Spanish guitars favoured by the forefathers of the electric blues & jazz era - a bloodline that was as prevalent back then as it is today.

The full bi-convex 7-ply pressed hollow-body construction allows for a plethora of microphonics to be sculpted by the dual MOJO ‘Foil Tron’ gold foil pickups. Each pickup has an individual volume and tone control wired identically to the Es330 controls resulting in a limitless tonal range. The body features mahogany tone bars and a mahogany bridge post stiffening the body cavity and giving the guitar a wonderful airy tone with sharp response when attacked. This is a guitar that will wrench you back to an electrified guitar era of old, however this instrument should not be confined to blues style guitarist alone. The tight ABM floating bridge + trapeze arrangement responds with sharp clarity to perfectly suit delicate jazz players too.

The ultra-thin heritage nitro-cellulose black finish allow the timbers to ring out and the quilted wood grain to delicately show through the top and back, the combination of which gives a light relic-look without strangling the tone of the materials used in its construction.

The body, neck and headstock have been accented with white pearloid 3-ply binding and accompanied by a matching pickguard.

Hand carved Honduran Mahogany neck w/ Gabon Ebony fretboard and matching rear neck skunk-stripe, white Mother-of-Pearl Inlays, Honduran mahogany head + tail and bridge block, steam-bent Sycamore body rims, hand-made Ebony/ Maple/ Pearloid art-deco bridge base. The pick-ups on this guitar are faithfully hand-wound recreations of the Harmony ‘Gold Foil’ pickups, hand produced by Mojo pickups out of the UK - specific to this guitar model and voiced true to the period with which the guitar hails from.
