A unique D+H custom cigar box banjo body of ‘birds eye’ maple with black binding and walnut rear drum surround, chrome Waverley tailpiece, traditional chrome and pearl planetary tuning pegs, white mother-of-pearl fret markers on a 23-fret Ebony finger board, beautiful laminate neck of maple and walnut w/ truss-rod, traditional Appalachian mountain bag headstock with 1920’s buffalo nickel coin inset into an Ebony headstock overlay, 6″ Remo drum skin w/ traditional banjo bridge, traditional Harmony-style f-holes, chrome strap buttons, 24 3/4″ fret scale, solid-bone nut and bone 5th string nut, high quality chrome minihumbucker pickup w/ CTS volume control, chrome control knob and tele-style countersunk chrome input jack plate.

The unique and entirely designed by the Drummond & Hammett, ‘Rag Box Banjo’ comes complete with high quality hardshell tweed hardcase, lined with black velour fabric.
